I did some homework for you. At the Plaza site, they mention shuttles, but they don't say they're free. At McCarran Airport's site, they list the shuttles and prices. They all cost almost the same, even the Las Vegas Limousine (IF you reserve it ahead). A taxi will cost about twice as much unless you find someone to share it. Check at the airport site below to choose one.

Take one of the shuttles that run outside the airport. Go ahead and buy the round trip ticket, so that you already have your trip back to the airport taken care of, too. You'll just need to call them before your flight to set up your pick-up. Make sure you call early enough so that you allow enough time to get through security, since the shuttle will inevitably make multiple stops on the way back to the airport.

It's much cheaper than a taxi.

The shuttles are NOT cheaper than taxis if 2 people are traveling together.
They also stop all over the place before getting to your hotel.
You are also locked into their schedule when you return back to the airport.
I am sorry every time I take a shuttle instead of taxi. Even when I am alone.

If the Plaza has a free shuttle then you are all set. Call them before you go.

understand that Vegas is no longer attempting to be a family individuals-friendly trip spot. yet there are some lodges which would be extra proper, and there are some issues you're able to do. As for lodges, evaluate Orleans (off the strip, yet with video clips, bowling, arcade, and so on - loose shuttle to strip), MGM (extensive, with a lot to do interior and interior of reach, and with a large pool section), or the city middle inns (new, large region). issues to work out and do: *Stratosphere view and/or rides *Dolphin Habitat and secret backyard at Mirage *MGM Lion exhibit *Madame Tussaud's wax museum at Venetian *Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay *Bellagio fountains *Treasure Island pirate coach *catch a coach - Mystere or O via Cirque, Blue guy team, Jersey Boys, Lion King... *Fremont highway experience (downtown, at evening) *circulate to the spa *savour the buying at Miracle Mile (Planet Hollywood), communicate board (Caesars), Grand Canal (Venetian) or style coach Mall (close to Treasure Island). There are outlet department shops farther south of the strip. *cling out on the pool
