The UN can't stop wars in the middle east or Africa. They made an agreement with Israel and Hezzbolah only to let Hezzbolah violate it right under their thumb.

Yesterday Kofi Anan (sp) says Israel is to blame for killing 4 UN peace keepers. He even said the 4 were no where near Hezzbolah's outposts and today a letter is released from the family of one of the four saying Hezzbolah was all around them and Israel was right on target.

How much incompetence do we (the United States) have to take before we start cutting our funds out. What happens if we just fold up shop and leave the UN 100% and give them 3 years to vacate NY?

Lets not forget Saddams oil for food fiasco in which the son of Kofi Anan made millions.

That's the question everyone is struggling so hard to say doesn't exist. It's invisible, non-existent. No one will ever seriously consider getting out of this totally obsolete organization of rich and educated crooks and former dictators. This frustrates the heck out of me.

If America & the UK backed the UN it would bring an end to the misery For Israel & Lebonan people. Its people like you that appear to thrive in other peoples misery.Has for Saddam who took him alive if he was dead maybe there would not be the massive mess in Iraq.I believe we had no right to invade Iraq
if they had ony wanted to topple Saddam why did Your Country or the UK NOT send in elite forces to get him?

I agree. I think the U.S. should sever ties with the U. N. . . they're only causing problems anyway. But, just like how the government always pokes its nose where it don't belong, the Republicans will never go for such an idea. Oh, how I wish Kerry had won.

We need another Reagon. He would have told the U.N. to kiss off by now. Bush panders to them too much, but at least he doesn't really pay any attention to them.

God help us if we ever elect another Democrat as President. They'll sell our sovereignty to the U.N. the first chance they get.
