I just noticed that this GTA game was released for PS2. Is it worth playing? I liked San Andreas a lot but that was my first GTA game. Is it more or the less the same thing as that one with different stories or does it include more game play and different things?

I forgot to mention that money isn't an issue. My PS2 is modded so all games are free.

Its a lot like GTA 3... it takes place in the same town in a different time period. If you are used to the polish and flash of San Andreas, GTA:LCS will most likely disappoint you. I enjoyed it because I knew the town like the back of my hand right from the start because I played GTA3, and I finally got to ride motorcycles in Liberty City (They didn't have them in GTA3) The missions are pretty good, challenging, but not too difficult, but the graphics are not as crisp as GTA:SA and there are nowhere near as many side quests or mini-games. I enjoyed it but I didn't buy it.

Liberty City Stories is kind of a side story base upon GTA III. If you started off on San Andreas, you will probably be disappointed with this one. I recommend playing GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, then Liberty City Stories. By the way, they are coming out with Vice City Stories in October, so get crackin!

No it's not worth playing because you already played GTA SA. GTA LCS is just a remake of GTA 3 with worse graphics & sound than GTA SA. Even if you get it free you won't enjoy it. You better wait for GTA IV which is a next gen GTA, going to come out in October, 2007.

It's the same exact thing as GTA3, but with better graphics and more music stations. I didn't find the game to be exciting, since it is a remake of GTA3 with a few changes to it. I bought it, played it once and went back to the place I bought it and sold it lol.

Don't get it. Its not anything against the game, because I read it was good in a magazine, but its getting late to buy new PS2 games. If you want to though, its 30 dollars.
