my friend is mad,for something I didn't do?HELP!!!?

my friend cat is mad at me all beacuase this boy sent a text message saying that cat said my sister smoked pot.my sister doesnt even know cat,i know her.this boy knows cat from church.i know cat from school.but anyways,i asked cat if she said that,and she said no.i told her that the boy told me and my sister.then on sunday,she left me a message saying that im a liar,when IM NOT!!she thinks im a liar cause matthew told her that he didnt say that.what do i do?i realy wana become frewns with her again.

I think you're friend is not a friend at all. If anyone is to blame here, it might be the guy. I'd say let it rest and don't even mention it again. If you want to be friends with her, watch your back.

It she believes him (the liar) and not you (the honest one) then she is the one with the problem.

I lost a girlfriend this way. Her daughter told her lies about me. Of course, she believed her daughter. So sad Too Bad. The best I can do is tell the truth. If that's not good enough, then So sad Too Bad.

It hurt bad for a while, but doesn't hurt so much now.

Remember it's her problem. You have no control of the circumstances unless she believes you.

first of all that was confusing lol but i get what you are saying now. best thing to do is to just keep apologizing and saying "why would i lie about that. i want to be your friend i think that you are an awesome person and lets just forget this whole thing because it was one BIG misunderstanding. im really sorry.....etc" if you are truly sorry and you tell her this a few times she should forgive you. if she wont forgive you after that i say find another friend because you dont want to have a friend who cant forgive......it just wont work out. good luck!!
