DC - does it really make a difference now? WE are there and WE need to stand by Iraqis and help them better themselves and the region. You're looking for an admission that you will never get because the reasons were given by Dubya and the senate & congress gave Dubya the green light based upon the intels of us, the brits and other nations. Was it faulty intel? We may never know. WE do know that Clinton deemed him a threat and attacked him without permission. We do know that Saddam used WMD's to gas thousands of Kurds. We do know that there were numerous trucks being moved out of Iraq and into Syria & Lebanon before the Iraq invasion. All of that is documented. Why don't you do yourself and your party a favor and support the war on terror and when it is over go back to being the typical socialist you are. Don't take the last comment wrong. You have great ideas and want to help people BUT right now lets get together and crush the terrorist who want to kill us. After that then we can really do good for those less fortuante.

Never!!! Some of the "American people" already know the truth, but,by choosing to ignore it they think it will disappear, or will be justified. It won't. History will remember Bush as the greatest disgrace that ever happened to the United States. Bush has marked the beginning of the end of this great nation. The respect, admiration and love the world once felt for the people of the United States, has been shattered by the assassin greed of few bad politicians that somehow were able to convince the great majority of northamericans that destroying, humiliating and robbing defenseless nations of their natural resources was right. They all are, to some extent, accomplishes. May God forgive you, because, believe me, the world never will.

Oh, Cynthia Tucker, now there is an unbiased source... you couldn't find anything on him, so you use something that a conservative hating columnist makes up? david c, if I were your day care helper, I'd put you in the "sad chair" in the corner and make you skip this afternoon's animal cracker snack...

And which version of your party's stand on the war do you want to quote, since you don't have anything of your own worth talking about... Do you want John Kerry's "I voted against the war after I voted for it?" or do you want to quote any of the other nimrods who are saying that Bush lied about the pre-war intel, but they all were privy to the same information and voted for the war based on all of that intel? Oh david c, doesn't being delusional cut into your time with the puzzles and the Barney stories?

When did Franklin Roosevelt give the American people the truth about World War II? I'm suggesting that the American people may not do the best thing if they were to do what they think is best for them.

It is likely the truth won't be revealed for many years to come, certainly not while Bush is in power. The chances are by that time people will hail him as a flawed hero, rather than the war criminal he is.

since you liberals can't think for yourselves I will answer this. The truth has been told but the lying left will never admit it. Ya'll need to stop believing the Micheal Moore and Howard Dean are gods and start thinking for yourselves. Oh never mind when you start using common sense one tends to move more to the right and God forbid that from happening

we've never been told the truth about ANY war. we couldnt comprehend that all the war hero bs is propaganda & that we are suckers every time. we give them warm bodies & unlimited tax dollars to get us into wars. there was no threat from ww1, classic case of entangling alliances. russia, uk & africa would have defeated hitler. there hasnt been any real threat to usa or its commerce since. why do you think every administration has had a war & coincidentally has businesses that cater to military? umlimited tax dollars. we've fallen for it for thousands of years & always will.

He probably will not openly give the truth about the Iraq War...it's really not his style...just look at the NSA wire tapping case...the war is even more convoluted than that - plus, it would literally ruin him and his career.

Hey Dave, why don't you tell us the truth? I usually don't answer a question with a question, but since your basing whatever statement you are trying to make on two year old article I figured what the f*u*c*k....
