No - do not believe the religious practice of circumcision.
A good daily bath will clean every part of the body and this should be adequate.
Some religions practice this - this is weird since there are no reasonable medical support for this.
There have been deaths because of this - do you want to take a risk for no obvious benefit?
Unless your Ayatollah (if you are Muslim), or whatever religion priest demand it as a condition to remain with the religion - Do not do it.
Why not ask adult friends who have been circumcised about their "status" - they will tell you this is unnecssary for cleanliness nor future performance.
Also some perverted religions demand females to be circumcised. There again is the crude medieval beliefs spreading about natural organs being tampered with.

They will tell you it is very painful. Even though it is a 2 year old. The boy can be traumatized the rest of his life.

Get it done asap. A bit painful now, but he will reap the benefits as he grows older, both hygenically and in his own confidence - - there are still public showers in jr. high school and females in his future that will be shocked if he is not circumsized. Healing will be a matter of a couple of weeks.

My nephew wasn't circumcised when he was born. But at around 4 years old he had to. He formed some sort of infection and it caused the foreskin to bubble up when he had to pee.
The circumcision itself wasn't painful for him cause he was fully sedated. But after wards he was in a lot of pain. It hurt to see a small child under so much pain. But it had to be done.
You have a tough decision to make. But the best thing to do is to go ahead and have it done. It would be better than to have to deal with bigger problems down the road.

My fiancee was not circumsized as a baby. He said that when he was like 5 or 6 he had to peel the skin back himself. He said that it was extremely painful. He told me that if we have a boy, he wants him to be circumsized.

I am clipped & I think that it makes it easier on the kid! One thing to consider is if the father is clipped as well! If the son sees that his is different than daddy's, it may lead to some confusion!
