I would guess that she can make you move it unless there is something in writing allowing you to have your fence attached to her house. Your gate is merely a part of your fence so whatever laws you found pertaining to fences will also apply to your gate.

It depends on whether the person who put up the gate broke any laws or regulations when they did it, you took on the house & that includes the fixtures, fittings & garden so if it does have to come down it will be your responsability.

Yes she can! Property boundry disputes are getting worse because of the unwillingness of neighbors to work together! Try to find a happy medium! If it is her property, she can do whatever she wants to it!
