Why are liberals so dishonest? Why do liberals justify wrong by pointing to wrongs as an excuse?

Why are liberals cowardly? Why don't liberals have the courage to fight for liberty as are forefathers did so they can legally spew misguided and untrue propaganda? Why do liberals have no moral standards which they are unable to define? Why are liberals unable to accept truth? Are liberals mentally ill?

I'm always amazed by people who are so willing to impugn 50 percent of their countrymen without even knowing them, as if the political future of our country is nothing more than a football game and you're either on the right team or the wrong team. Answer each question one by one:

1) Disagreement doesn't equate to dishonesty.

2) Because of the hypocritical nature and double-standard nature of most conservatives. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander. Look in the mirror before you condemn others for anything.

3) Define cowardly.

4) Like the answer to question number 1, people like you are being lied to, but not by the progressives. And what makes you think that the progressives aren't fighting hard to take back our country?

5) Define "moral standards". To people like you "moral standards" is about sex. To us, moral standards are how we treat our fellow human beings, and under my definition, you guys are the ones who lack the moral standards.

6) The question should be "Why are conservatives unable (or should I say UNWILLING) to accept the truth?

7) Mental illness (and it exists on all sides) isn't a character flaw. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You seem to forget that the Founding Fathers were extreme left-wing radicals, not a bunch of neo-con whack jobs.

Think about it, dummy! In an era where the Crown wielded absolute power -- literally the power of God -- here was a bunch of crazies declaring a government of the people, by the people and for the people. And with the inalienable right of life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness, no less! You just can't get much more left-wing liberal that THAT, my friend!

By today's standards, they make modern main-stream liberalsim look like old-line conservativism.

Thank GOD for liberals and liberalsim! Without both, the US would not exist today! We'd be part of Great Britain still, singing God Save the Queen at sporting events, paying £4.00 per gallon for petrol, and double our current taxes. Yes, I actually believe there is something wrong with how their brains work. They are usually quite intellectual but they use that brainpower in warped ways. Quite often they have unresolved anger issues regarding abuse, neglect, heartache etc. I think ther is a connection there.

Also, Liberals have very big egos. That is the tie that binds them. They usually have no reverence for a higher power. No humility. (They are smart. We are dumb.)They see themselves as being cheated out of their birth rights by those who are more successful (us). They cannot admit defeat because they think the DESERVE something. I believe the problem lies in how these people were raised (i.e. without discipline and structure). They have no work ethic or sense of responsibility so they drink, do drugs, sleep around, cheat, lie, ask for handouts, avoid getting jobs like Pacman avoids ghosts, and blame George W. Bush for everything.

Just let them be. They'll come around someday. Or maybe not. But don't let them bother you. I listen to them and am amazed by the sorts of connections their line of reasoning takes them. They are brilliantly pathetic.

There are a lot of accusations here but I see no proof of that. For your information the Liberals are the ones fighting the war, the conservatives just start them. For no good reason I might add. I sure got more morals then the appointed one. He has killed over 2500 or our guys and 10's of thousands of Iraqi for no good reason.

Liberal "minded" means left brained as well. That is the emotional side and that is why they accept no personal responsiblity and want everything to be a societal cause, blame and solution.

When you corner them on facts they can only respond with emotions...the poor children, the disenfranchised etc, etc. etc....pathetic creatures really.

Liberals ARE fighting for liberty. Today's neoconservatives have abandoned everything conservatives once stood for. They try to pretend they're still opposed to big government, but they want to pass Constitutional amendments to deal with issues that either should be the business of the states or shouldn't be the government's business at all. They want to intrude into every aspect of our personal lives and take away our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom from unlawful search and seizure, and the right to a fair and speedy trial. In short, neoconservatives want to do away with almost all of the Bill of Rights (all but the right to bear arms). All liberals, moderates, and compassionate conservatives (if there really is such a thing) should be opposed to that agenda. I'm a moderate myself and I'm horrified at what the Republican party has become since the Reagan years.

Getting back to fighting for liberty, it's tragic that we have to fight our own government for it. We still don't know what our troops are fighting for in Iraq -- the administration has run out of lame excuses -- but it's not freedom. Rampant neoconservatism is the real enemy of liberty.
