The line that connects flirtation, teasing, harrassment and stalking?
This was a big topic at work today...

ashchicka2006 had a good point. The line between two people is not always clear. But as long as both people on either side of the line view it the same; then things are in balance. (Kind of like the answers I got to my kinky v/s perverted question.) Flirtation and teasing [kinky] are between to consenting adults; harassment and stalking [perverted] are a one-way street.

When the object of your flirtation lets you know they are uncomfortable. Even if you meant nothing by it. Some people will not verbally express their discomfort, but it will be seen in body language. Examples, avoiding you, trying not to look at you. That type of thing.

When one of the 2 members in the couple says "no" or " don't want to do that", "I think we've gone far enough"...basically wants to end it and the other person continues to pursue the one saying "enough", to the extreme; sending emails, phoning, flowers, gifts on your car,etc. If it makes you afraid, then the line has been crossed!

when it gets uncomfortable to take for one of them.
u need to set time for play, work, fun, etc...so that your flirtation wont be mistaken as being a player, desperate, sucking up or out of place.
when we understand each other, no lines can be crossed.

When one of the parties is uncomfortabe...and that line is different for everyone -- which is why strict rules are in place for most companies.. there are people with low or no tolerance for even fun flirting or joking.

this day in age with so many freaks, it's just best not to toy with it at all....the truth is, it's subjective....with some guys, you don't have to even look at cross-eyed for them to get a sick obsession over you and yet some guys you can ÏÒ×Ñ tease all day long and they'll maintain their sane behavior....you never know, so it's best to conduct yourself like a lady so you don't have to find out.

I think its about gender harrasment or sexual harrasment or something like that.
I think that depends on your own personality.
Some people admire the art of flattery and some people just want to smack the person who flirted.So I guess everybod's limit is gotta be different.

When a mofo puts his damned hands on your shoulders and slides it down to your breast while you are sitting at your cubicle working, then you have to call human resources and the mofo's supervisor protects his dumb a$$ then you have to call Philly headquarters to complain and threaten to sue and then something is done about it!

teasing is touching in a very nice way
harassment is anything sexually natured and unwanted
and stalking is when u r just plain crazy
