i have videos that i want to put on my ipod but it has 2 be in a specific format how do i convert. and is there a way 2 do it for free ?

Indeed there is, use Videora. It's a great program - simple to use. You can choose the size of which you want your video to be too, the default size is the same size as the Ipod video screen.

It's freeware meaning you don't need to pay for it at all, but you may donate if you'd like.

No need to look far. iTunes converts the video files into the format that the iPod understands. Put the videos you want on your iPod into the "Videos" section in iTunes. Then highlight them, go to the file menu, select "Advanced" and then select "Convert Selection For iPod"

Mission accomplished. Now all you need to do is drag and drop into your iPod as you would do for songs.
