I don't want to know what it's about. I can look that up anywhere. I just want to know what you (the fans) find so appealing. A long time ago, I answered many a similar inquiry about Yu Yu Hakusho, because a lot of people thought it was a horrible show because it ended up on Toonami. I know what CN does to some really great shows, so did they "pull a Toonami" on Naruto, like they did to YYH and RK? I tried watching Naruto again (almost an entire ep) the other night, but I still don't get what's so interesting.

I personality like Naruto for its setting. It's completely different from that of our real world and the world that the ninjas live in is simply intriguing. It's a type of a world that I wouldn't mind living in.

u see most of the amines are about love/ fighting ... One piece and naruto are the only ones who combine both .... Narutospot fighting are because of emotional bonds Naruto is a good story because of the emotional parts one piece has emotional stories barely .... And they are not so realistic narutos stories are realistic... They Cept reality in the show EXEPT ... That humans have chakra ...naruto creators were going forward to the quation " what if we would have super powers? " u see dbz has super powers but they are all in some wierd planet ? Goku came back from heaven? Really? One piece has super powers but thease super powers don't have any sense where did the devil fruit came from?? In naruto they showed who created the chakra why and when ... They give info about every single carector even those who are not the heroes of the story that why naruto is a Sunday's they keep it real

It changed my life man I will never forget the show I start to get emotional when I here its going to end soon I've been watching it since was 2 years old or one but Naruto shippuden is way better

if you dont want to know what its about and you dont know the story line then you wont understand why its popular. simple as that. to understand why we like it you have to watch!
say i never ate pizza and everyone likes it, but i never try it or i take a tiny bite (like your one episode) then i would never experiance and understand why pizzas popular.
therefore, if you say you can look it up anywhere or if you have time to watch the first say 10+ episodes then do so. (dont watch it from the middle or you wont get the storyline) That way you will understand why it's popular. even if you dont like it at least you can say you tried it out.
ok beside persuading you to watch (hehe) i like it because the action like fights are very cool. the storyline hooks you. the characters appeal to an audience. it has comedy, love, action, and mystery. most anime only have the action and love and they are too serious sometimes.
btw YYH and RK rocked. i liked both so im sure you'd like naruto. it's different.

i dont really know...i didnt like it when it was aired in our country about 4 years ago but when i watched it again months ago i was intrigued by the story and the characters...i was initially curious of what happened to sasuke and the love story in the series ( if there is)...my biggest question when i watched the series again was : who ends up with sakura in the end? i was hoping for an answer and i was surprised that the series has not ended yet and the manga too. ..my curiousity caused me liking the series and the manga...Naruto has so many things which make a series worth watching...it has everything from action, mystery, humor, and drama...and the series is unpredictable...but right now since the series is all fillers i prefer reading the manga which is equally good even better...

For me, I really like some of the animation done in it, part of me doesn't know either, but it's just catchy to me, and in the beginning, I found it was kind of nice watching an anime show that wasn't completely out there I guess, the soft humor in it's decent too, not my fav anime show but I like it.
