I also suggest buying some socks that do not go past your ankles. If you really want the ones that roll all the way up and you can't find wide, buy some that are a size larger. You can probably find what you are looking for in a shoe store or a store like Wal Mart or K Mart.

I know the issue. It happens to me too. When you take off the socks, the part above your sock looks swollen. I guess there are expensive solutions, but I do not know. Interested to see the answers!

This is because when ur warm ur body swells slightly and with the sock there its slightly restricting ur blood flow not in a harmfull way tho, dont worry about that, every1 gets it.

do you mean that they indent your legs? If they hurt go to the next size up so they are looser and not cutting off circulation or anything

my gramp has this problem and there are socks with wider fittings i just can't remember where he gets them from...
failing that he used to cut elastic out of middle bit which makes it looser,
