The reason why we broke up is coz my family did not like her race and also did not like the fact she was different, i was young and stupid and ended breaking up with her. Try it dude. Listen to your heart not your family.

I don't think she will because four years is a long time. She would feel that you should have gone to her sooner. She might have moved on with her life and at this point, you should not expect her to want you back. However, asking us will not solve your problem. You better go ask her. Good luck

Let,s hope so I was influenced by the beliefs of my parents but on reaching adulthood I soon realised that I had a mind of my own and could make my own decisions.for your own peace of mind at least try to make amends with this girl

If you sit down and talk to her and tell her how you really feel about her and that you would like to be friends again then yea maybe she will accept to be friends with you but you must also explain your reasons for leaving her.

Four years at your ages is a long time, but you won't know if you don't pursue it. If it works out, I would prepare my family before I brought her around. If you like her, you need to protect her.

She should be fine. Tell her you now know better, that its not important what color you are. Tell her your family will not influence your thoughts and feelings anymore. Just be honest.

If you want to go back and seek forgiveness, try it. Ultimately it depends how she felt at the time and now.
