Love is a gift from God, however you need money to live and survive because our society revolves around money and how we live.

Money does not make you happy but you need it to live. When you are in a marriage relationship and covenant, part of true love is getting up when the alarm clock rings and getting washed and dressed to go to work.

People should mind their own business, if these two have what it takes to make a great relationship I say go for it.

My husband came from a poor back round I came from upper middle class, yes we have different views of money and how it needs to be spended, but we don't believe in going in debt for what we can afford.

Money is important however not everything God is the answer not how much you have but rather what you DO with what you have.

The only reason I can imagine is that they fear the poor person is only attracted to the rich person for their money. Or perhaps they just think the backgrounds of the people are too different for them to get along.

But I don't think it should really matter.

it's not really love that what's got to do with it.. it's security, financial distress is one of the top reasons people break up/divorce. It also has to do with social class... you know like Romeo and Juliet.
