My pattern says to fold the fabric wrong side out, sew it, and turn the strap inside out. The way I am doing it takes way too long. Any trick?

My grandmother used to used skinny little wooden dowels. If you sew regularly I'd suggest purchasing one. They're very inexpensive. Less than a dollar for sure. It makes things very easy and they are real long so you can do the whole strap in 2 seconds flat. Good Luck.

I would take a large safety pin, pin it to one side of one end, flip the top of the safety pin over so it went inside the strap and pulled the strap in with it. The head of the pin makes a good grip to push & pull as you "scrunch" the fabric up the the pin. If it is a smaller strap, the pencil can help push the pin through as well. Good luck!

Attach a safety pin to the end of the strap(tube) on one side only. Slip it back into the hole and feed the pin through. This will turn the strap right side out.

Pin a safety pin to the end and insert it into itself and gently push it through an inch or two at a time, it will work, but as you know, it will take time. You just have to be persistant. If it's worth it to you it will be perfect.
