what if another country bagan bomb airports and power supply facilities accidentally killing civilians in the US trying to clean out a terrorist org. here like uh...THE KKK! for example...that be interesting...would you support it? and how could they distinguish a kkk member from an average American? Its just a scenario so dont think im anti American as a matter a fact im a soldier and we had a really hard time ID'ing the enemy overseas we couldnt take chances so yes some innocent people died. But is it worth it? We'd make a huge move forward and it seemed like terrorist doubled. NOw troops are having to stay longer. I was PRO WAR before i went overseas...you guys they are recruiting more terrorist because they actually think we are the terrorist the more innocent people die. I love America I love it enough to struggle hard to try to think of an alternatives. Men die so that we can eliminate terror and some US citizens use it as a political campaign to justify their vote. Its sad.

If the KKK went into Canada (as your orgs did in Israel), kidnapped and brought them back (as your orgs did), went to Canada with explosives strapped to them and killed random citizens (as you orgs do), did this for years (as your orgshave done), is housed, protected, and supported by the govt (as your orgs were), was freely shipped money to continue these activities (as your orgs were and Lebanon allows and supports), freely allowed massive amounts of weapons to cross the border (as Lebanon has done), and another myriad of international violations, then MAYBE you might have a valid analogy.
Short of that, take a hike.

The war is with Hezbollah, not the Lebanese people. Unfortunately, Hezbollah operates in southern Lebanon with no opposition from their government. The Lebanese government has allowed them to operate for six years despite Proclamation 1559 (I think that's the law) that demanded that Hezbollah be disarmed. So I guess the question is this: if the Lebanese government refuses to control a terrorist organization operating within their country, why should Israel suffer the consequences?
To use your example, if the KKK decided to bomb Mexico, and Mexico retaliated by attacking us, I'd be flaming pissed at the KKK and would join Mexico in destroying them.

Sometimes people use an excuse to hate, to fight, to destroy. If someone steps on your toe and you hit them with a howitzer, that is overreaction and acting on an excuse.
Here, with Israel, we've got overreaction and acting on an excuse to invade Lebanon. Some say it is to set up a reason for the US to invade Iran, so if you are a soldier, you might want to make sure your gear is ready.
