If I could meet such a character? I don't think it'd really make much difference. I mean, that's just like meeting a celebrity: they act nice and stuff but actually they just get annoyed and want you to go away, and occasionally they'll give you a cheap autograph to get you to shut up.
I mean, really. It's not like I could ask them anything and have them do anything for me. If I want to see into the minds of the fictional characters, I'll just read/watch/listen to whatever they came from.
I don't know... maybe Guu from Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu... she's completely insane and makes everything around her utter and complete chaos. Might be moderately amusing to be eatten and sent to a pocket dimension filled with 100 legged cats and fish with no faces but instead giant lips...

Don Shimoda, from the book Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. If he couldn't help me realize the integral oneness of all things and get me enlightened, I don't know who could.

Either Dr. Mark Sloan from Diagnosis Murder, Adrian Monk from Monk, or Shawn Spencer from Psych. I like watching their shows, and I'd just want to see them working on a case (together would be better since I'd like to see how they'd interact).

Brilliant question....and a difficult one as there are so many...but I would have to say Sherlock Holmes.....so troubled, and so complex as all people blessed (or cursed) with true genius are...which speaks volumes for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, God that man must have been truly inspired..

Superman, so he could take me flying.
Wait. I'm a guy, so it might be more romantic with Supergirl.
But why Supergirl when Storm of the X-Men can also fly and she is way hotter?
OK. Storm, then.
