why should it concern anyone where you met? if you're not embarassed by it then don't worry about it. people will think what they want so as long as you are comfortable with it, great.

If it's true, why not! People are always asking other where and how they met, and 'online', is definitely one of the ways. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I would personally be more embarassed to say I met someone in a bar or at a nightclub!

Things are really changing. A lot more people are meeting online and having good relationships, so it's not such a wierd thing anymore. I know people who said that they met doing something they both had in common on their interests list. Then as they got to know people they told them.

No, I didn't! My ex and I used to tell people we met at the bus stop. (Where we arranged to meet after meeting online.) My aunt married a man she met on the internet, she tells everyone. You tell people whatever YOU feel comfortable with. Personally, I feel that's no one's business but your own.

Depends on how you feel about it. If you're too embarrassed, then maybe make up a place (if you feel bad about lying, then actually meet up at the mall...then you can say you met him at the mall :)). It's really up to you...
