It is a 10 team league and I was really surprised to see Carnell Williams last till the 20th pick

Looking at the overall scope of this trade, this look really good for you.

The only downside to this trade is Carnell Williams for Fred Taylor, but you will also be receiving Gates and Harrison, which shouls more than make up for the hit at RB. Randy should have a decent season with Culpepper under center, but Gates remains the top TE in the league. Eddie Kennison is a good backup, but with who you have on the bench at WR, trading him is almost a given.

The kickers are actually rather even, so there is no issue there.

Currently, with all the issues that the Bengals Defense is dealing with at this time, and the fact that the Panthers have a consistently solid defense, this is just icing on the cake.

Take the trade, and then look for a sleeper RB since Taylor will not have the major impact on his team (with the presence of Greg Jones and rookie Maurice Drew-Jones). Good luck.

Nope. Essentially your rb's are the ones who will get you the big points in a league. And you already have a monster team. I like Gates obviously. Taylor will probably get hurt and Rackers will not get as many points with Edge on the goaline. Either you had a monster draft; the other teams had a horrible draft, or you're in a 8 team league. For you to draft what you got....Unreal.

do it, Cadillac Williams is obviously a better pick than Fred Taylor, but Gates is the best TE, rackers is the best K, Harrison is way better than Kennison and the Panthers D is way better than the bengals.

RB is the most important position, but you have to think, you are gonna have trade bait w/ Gates/V. Davis @ TE, and all that depth @ WR.

I wouldn't do it because you are giving up a top 10 or 11 RB. And top tier RB's are hard to come by. You have plenty of WR's, and McMichael will be serviceable. I'll take Cadillac over Antonio Gates EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK!!! Don't make that trade you need that second solid RB. Good Luck to ya.

Do it! This trade only makes you better at all positions except RB. I don't like Fred Taylor's age or durability - he always seem to get hurt. Also, see if you can get Cedric Benson off waivers like fast and drop Matt Jones or Eddie Kennison. Looks like Cedric may be the feature back in Chicago.

you are upgrading everywhere except RB. Generally I hate downgrading at RB, but to team Harrison with Holt and have Darrell for the bye weeks, upgrading the TE and defenses - I say go for it.

Depends on the scoring of your league too. There would have to be some screwy scoring though for this not to benefit your team.

I think it mainly depends on your league settings if you have points per reception then I would probably do it. I don't like downgrading at rb's but you can probably find a sleepr on the waiver wire sometime in the season( but thats playing with fire). If your league doesn't award points for receptions then I probably would not do it. Also, you have a pretty good squad right now. I would decline it if no pts for rec.

No, it's not worth the downgrade in Rb's for an upgrade in TE. The addition of harrison makes it tempting, but you already have a dam good WR corp. and who knows you may be playing Davis at TE if he's 1/2 as good as they made him out in the draft

I would make the trade, overall you are getting more then you are giving. Harrison and gates are better then anything you are giving up, plus rackers is the best at his position.
