IF HE LOVES YOU IT SHOULDNT MATTER, BEING WITH WHO YOU LOVE IS ROMANTIC

First of all lets keep it easy and since i do not know your budget, lets keep it simple. Create a nice atmosphere at home, instead of eating around the dinner table, set up the coffee table, by some colorful pillowcases and create a sit on the floor dinner, lots of candles, serve his "ring" in the cocktail/wine/champagne glass, and go to the store and by easy foods to heat and serve, single bites that do not take a whole lot of preparation. If you do decide to go to a restaurant, choose a small cosy place and go talk to the owner/manager a couple of days before, i am sure they will try and help you. Wish you luck and happiness

Can't believe what I read for answers-half the folks didn't read the ques- Vicki l would have you eating candles.

I would suggest you somehow ask the hubby what plans HE is looking at. Still you can surprise him if on your anniversary, when you see him on his way in, leave your undies at the foot of the stairway and slide down the bannister. When he asks what you're up to tell him you are warming up his supper. No bannister? You'll have to improvise.

Italian is usually a romantic food. I really like pasta, maybe something like fettucine alfredo. Then again, since it's your aniversary, you don't wanna fill him up TOO much so that he get's extra sleepy....you want him AWAKE!

One of my favorite recipes uses slices of tomato, slices of fresh mozorella, balsamic vinegar, and fresh basil. Cut tomatoes in large slices so that they look like circles (no chunks!). Get a fresh ball of mozorella (I've seen them packaged in little balls before) and cut like tomatoes, in circles. Then shred some basil and it to the tomatoes + cheese. Then add some balsamic vinegar, enough to marinate it in the fridge for an hour our two before serving. We never use exact amounts--just eyeball it. Just remember that balsamic vinegar and basil are the more overpowering ingredients, so beware!!

Also, the above set chicken piccata is great too!! ^.^

Chicken piccata, spinach salad with strawberries and raspberry dressing, green beans with bacon. Chocolate mousse with whip cream. It would take me forever to put these recipes on line but if you go to epicurious.com and the foodnetwork.com you will find some good recipes for these.

A few great answers. Start the meal with fresh oysters on the half shell. It's the food of love.

If I were you, I think it would be more romantic for him to take the initiative in setting the dinner plans up. He might surprise you.

well, the best thing to do is to have candles...its best to go to somewhere that is more private...firstly,when you meet her/he...give your partner a kiss,a light but meaningfull....bear in mind that a kiss shows that you love/appreciate your partner so much...then,when you both sit,its better to sit side by side rather than sitting facing each other, lay on you partner...dont talk something rubbish, instead, its best to review your relationship's highs and lows during your time with your partner...during conversation, talk of something that shows your partner that you really appreciate him/her...hold hands...well,s** is also a good thing....but above all,its best to do things that you think is good for your partner because you know your partner well than we do...so,get to know the things that your partner loves to....

good luck and I hope that everything will be going just fine...

Fix him his favorite meal, no matter what that meal is. The fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach....well and something else.
