yes definitely the gold is in. Especially ever since the brand Kathy Van Zealand modified the whole gold purse look. As long as the sequins on the flip flops match the purse, it'll look awesome.

Colors of this summer season for purses/clutches : gold, copper, silver. In the city, they're even carrying them as day wear.
I think the outfit you're describing sounds great. Slim-cut jeans, a nice tank, dressy flip-flops and a gold clutch or purse is simple and stylish. If you anticipate a draft, you could throw in a semi-transparent shawl or pashmina to complete the look.

yes , black goes wth everythng, and so does jeans...now the flip flops should look like the purse, the sequins should go together having the jeans and black top separate the colors i think that would look good

bling bling. sequined? uhh i guess so but it might give people a different kind of expression like the not-so-you type. in my opinion.. i think that whatever you like is based on your own unique style, i mean dont die to be like everyone else. just be yourself, so if you like it, id say go for it.
