Well who's YOUR pick? i might as well hear you're opinion cause almost everybodys answer is gonna be their favorite player at the moment. IS there a "best"? That one player who exceeds in all styles of guitar? I don't think we have one of those yet. Sure a lot of people will say Hendrix , but Hendrix Couldn't play like Django Reinhart in that "hot club" style. Joe Pass? a great jazz player , but he couldn't do Eddie Van Halen. But maybe some of these names are not familiar to anyone , which is what you get when more people know who Mick Thompson from Slipknot is.....sheesh!
