You work for about 1/3 of your adult life. I couldn't stand spending 1/3 of my life doing something I didn't like.

At this point in time I'd rather be at a job that I like that pays well but eventually end up working at a job that I love and doesn't pay enough.

As long as I even half-liked the job, I'd take the one that pays fairly well. If it was something I hated, though, I'd go for the job that I loved, even though it's less money. You spend too much time at work to hate what you're doing. Hopefully, in the meantime, something better will come along that I both love AND pays well.

I would rather have a job I like that pays fairly well. In fact, I do have that job.

I would choose a job that I like that pays fairly well. Let's face it--it takes money to live. I have been poor and barely able to make it from week to week. The stress from that is almost unbearable and it takes a toll on all aspects in your life. (By the way, I do realize that money isn't the most important thing in life.)
Part of being an adult is realizing that you can't always do what you love or what is fun.

I would choose to learn to like the job that pays enough to get me by until I find something with more pay that I like better.

Well I actually invented a game called If You Had To Choose...? A FANTASY GAME ABOUT PRIORITIES that has that exact question....so I don't know if that question came from my game.
My site is: www.ifyouhadtochoosegame.com. I'm NOT trying to make a sale.....I just thought I'd mention the coincidence of this....that I've packaged a whole game with these questions(700!!) that I launched just over a year ago in Canada and am just getting into the U.S. I made the game because I just LOVE these questions that really make you think but in a fun way....and yup....I ALWAYS go for the PASSION....be in a job I love for little money.....

I used to have a job that paid me way too much, but I had to share an office with my boss. She was horrible, she made me order her country hams for family parties, wipe her chair legs while she sat in it, climb on a latter in heels to get her a box of papers she might need sometime. Anyway, I quit for a job that pays little more than minimum wage, but I love everyone I work with. I'm so glad I quit. Never choose money over happiness.

Well that all depends. Are you happy with where
you are in your life? Can you afford your rent, food, clothes,
with what you got now? Or do you need more to make it
a better fit for you? If I were in the working word again I would pick the less paying job. You are happy with what do you do.
And when you are happy so aren't the people and things around you!!
