Ok, for the record, and from a linguistic point of view (*clearing throat*) All languages are different and difficult in their own way. There are some easy things in English, like gender, where words are not assigned a gender, and in other languages (those I know: French, Spanish, German and Russian) you have gender, sometimes two, sometimes three, and not always the same gender from one language to the next. On the other hand, from speakers of a particular language, English pronunciation can be very difficult, because of all the different spellings for the same sound, while in German, or Russian, once you learn what the letters sound like, you can pretty much pronounce anything, even if you don't have the faintest idea what it means.

Off my language-teaching soapbox now.

I can read them all easy enough, but then again, I have known English all my life that I can remember. Although, English is supposedly the hardest language for anyone to learn. Every rule in the language has exceptions, plus we combine many languages into our own.
