My job now. I am a nanny for my aunt. she never gives me days off, i can't call in sick and to top it all off, she wants me to homeschool her kids with books from wal-mart! Her children are the whiniest kids you'll ever meet and she never spends time with them so they are always looking for attention from me... as if i can replace their mother! She also happens to think i am her personal psychologist, or at least that she can whine to me whenever she wants. Oh, and she wants six weeks notice from me before i quit... grrr. but she's family so there is only so much i can do.

Worked for the court systems. We were advocates for all of the Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity and the Incompetent to Stand Trial in the criminal justice system.
Psychos would come to the office screaming and pounding on the door.
No fun at all.

I worked at a nursing home. It was hard physicly and emotionally at times...I was only17 and quit after a year....I loved the elderly but whn I found myself getting inpatient I quit...they need lots of love and attention....and I was pretty young.

motherhood! you can't be trained or prepared for what will happen. you just take as best you can and hope things work out. nobody is there telling you if you are doing it right or wrong.
