students how much money you spend in school supplies?

Well I am in college so I have to buy books also and they cost me at least $800 a semester.

I spend like $30 to get me started each year and then go buy paper and pencils when ever I run out.

I would say after the starting cost I spend like $7 to 8 a month on supplies unless some project comes up that I was not planning for~

For my kids, I probably spend about 40 - 50 per child per year, not including new school clothes or school related costs such as art fees, milk fees, science fees, etc. My children are in Kindergarden, 1st and 3rd.

For myself, I probably spend about 200 a year on basic supplies. Once you start talking books, we are over a grand a year. I am almost into my second year of college (I take my classes online, year round).

well the books are expensive as hell like 120$ for a calculas book...wtf...n people say many drop out of college...duh
