Why are so many people against BLACK women?

Question

It seems like every time that a comment is made about a black woman it is almost always negative.

When I asked the question I didn't mean as far as out in the streets, etc. I meant about some of the questions that I read posted on Yahoo! Answers/ Questions...

It is not they are against black women it is the way a lot of black women act. Some act as if they are all that and that they are to good to talk to any one and they want to much.

Well not everyone has common sense. See the truth is that a few bad apples do spoil the bunch. Those sore thumbs have cast a shadow over the greatness of black women. Mind you that this society has and mostly will always be against or hard against us. It is unfair but true. So these women have made it harder for my black women to get their do......so it may be a lot of negativity out there. But it is just the surface of black women because all that s*** those bad few put out, rises to the top. I am just sorry for all my Black Optimal Lovely Divas. (B.O.L.D)

Where DO you get that idea? Yes, I have seen negatives about black women, but I have seen more acceptance and toleration than negatives. The other thing I see more and more often (and I applaud it) is the stories of sucessful black women on national TV (including Today, Good Morning America, and nightly news programs both local and national). I also see a more visable presence of black women in corporate America as well (and I work in corporate America). I do not mean to disagree with you. . . I just don't see it.

It depends on the black woman in question. Every job I have had where a black woman was the supervisor, I ended up quitting. Even when I did job interviews with black women, I had trouble.
It was all based on me having a college degree and the man in their life not having one. They were jealous.
There are just some rude black women out there that get mad over everything. And don't be married or dating outside the race and they see you, you will get told off.

So many people dont like us black women because some of us were born in the ghetto. And we struggle eveyday ot get out, And then they hate on the few that do. We unlike most white females are not going to sit back and take any ol crap from people. If theres a problem were going to someone know. They get mad cause they hate the fact that one day a long time ago we ruled and reigned this earth. And had them pathetic white females as our slaves. No im not recist but that first repsonse very much ticked me off. Yes im 14!!!! And i think so many people hate in us cause their jeoulous. Cause they could never be us. We have the nice plump lips, curves to kill for , cute noses, juicy booty's that most men want they women to have. Were just amzing. And white women why do you go an get surgery to get your nose reduced and lips bigger. Chest inhanced right along with your booties. Why go and get tans in the summer and winter. For one simple reason you want to be us. PLain and simple. YOu envy us balck women!!!!!!!!!

Who are you hanging out with? Klan members? There are sorry a*s people of EVERY race and gender. Don't let it get to you! The only people that get talked worse than black women are white girls and it doesn't bother me. Who cares about anyone's opinion but your own? What people are you talking about?
The people that watch Maury helping people find their baby's daddies? Watching that show you can see how some people develop and or reinforce the negative stereotypes and comments.

Be strong and don't focus on those lame comments or stereotypes and live in a manner that shatters them.

I am black too but I do not have much knowledge of what you are talking about. I do not encounter people talking negatively about black women where i live. Maybe it is because most of the population is black where I live.
