The average charge here is $75 to $80 per hour. I hope you don't believe the mechanic get it all, it's a split with the shop getting 60% or more, Check out your local auto shop!! It's the same. Some one has to pay for the building and taxes,ins. utilities, the help that just sits there doing nothing

depends on where you are. Most dealerships in the atlanta area charge about 75 per hr. indy shops charge anywhere from about 50-75.

That's about average for a dealership. Sometimes you can find an indedpendent shop with talented mechanics who only charge $50. Shop around, ask other riders.

My last dealership (Hon, Kaw, Yam) jacked up their labor rate to $88 per hr.
I charge $50 an hour for side jobs.

The local dealer (Yamaha) charges $80/hour for labor.
If you don't have a shop equipped with tools and lifts and such, you'd charge less.
