Give me your best explanation as to why we end up answering the same stupid questions over and over again in the motor sports section.

Primarily because there are a bunch of "teeny bopper" followers of certain drivers who feel "affirmed" when someone else recognizes that their hero is indeed "dreamy". I wish there were more actual serious motorsports questions and less:"Who thinks Jr. is hot?, Is Casey Kahne dating anyone?, or Who hates Tony Stewart?

Haha, I like this question. I think that for some reason, we racing fans don't have any new questions to ask....we've covered everything as far as I'm concerned. On Y! Answers Motor Sports section, we all talk about the drivers, their personal lives, the various motor sports, the dislike/enjoyment of motor sports, the motor sport rules, etc. I can't think of a topic anyone hasn't already discussed, so I end up answering questions that I've answered before. I usually end up defending my driver, or explaining why motor sports are not for rednecks only. And the list goes on....hey, tell me when a new question come up! Oh yeah, you just created a "new" question! You broke the spell! lol

Honestly I don't have a good explanation . When you start typing in your question, it lets you know if the exact same question has been asked or if there are similar questions asked. So I don't know what the deal is with people still asking. I also don't understand, how come people don't use spell check. Its right there use it. That way we all can try to understand the point your making.

Sorry just had to let that out.

THANK YOU!

I know when I ask a question it lets me know if it has already been asked before! Usually I think people, in this section particularly, are trying to make sure they get their point across!

Why do we answer them again and again...now that's an even better question! I get bored at work and will often answer there, so it doesn't really hurt me much!

I guess some people forget they were already asked. Or, they can't think of anything else to ask. But, yes, seeing the same questions over & over starts to get annoying after awhile!

It's because all motor sports just go around in cirlces, over and over and over again. Makes sense doesn't it.

The only explanation I can think of is: We keep answering them over and over. If we didn't answer them but ONCE we wouldn't be answering them over and over.
I'M NOT TRYING TO BE A SMART MOUTH...HONEST !

But TRUTHFULLY...we keep answering them...because we keep answering them. ( at least you get points when you answer)

no question can be original, as no book is original. we are the products of language and society conventions. by the way, i gave the same answer to the same question yesterday.

let's first take notice of the fact that most aren't factual questions and are opinion based questions..so yes, people really think they need to get their point across and think they are being clever about it.
second, most people aren't into looking into the past questions..
third, my guess?? people are bored..and are alwyas looking for new ways to amuse themselves..
