I tried nursing, wasn't happy. Thought about Criminal justice, not my thing. So, can you give me some ideas on what I should major in in school?

Biology, chemistry, history, or psychology? Biology and chemistry probably require the fewest number of extra classes. Good luck!

You need to think about what classes you enjoyed in high school and why they interested you. You need to look at the kind of person you are. Are you very organized? If so, office management, librarian, or party planner might be a good direction. If you are introverted...do not like to deal with people, then find a job at a library where you are alone processing books, or something that keeps you at bay from people. If you are an animal lover, be a vet technician, animal groomer or something at the zoo or a pet shop. You need to look at who you are and what you like and dislike. There are probably online tests at the school counselor's office to see what your aptitude is. The time there might serve you well. Good luck

So many choices out there! Do you know what you want to do after you graduate? Work? Graduate school?
It sounds dorky, but it works. Head over to career services and ask for a little help. They are usually so excited that someone came asking for their help, that they'll do anything for you...aptitude tests, setting up industry contacts, or helping you connect with alumni. Before taking a wild guess, try a few things out to see what you really want (before needing an extra year of school).

If you're unsure of what you want to major in, I'd take classes at a community college. Take your gen ed's there. Much cheaper than a 4 year college. After you've done that, you might have a better idea of what you want to study.

Thats how i was too. first it was business then education then pharmacy. But now i am back to my first choice business.

If you like the health care field pharmacy is a good choice. you get paid like a doctor but you don't have to deal with any yucky stuff just counting pills and telling them how to take them
