I think that both the pool and the beach have their own reasons to be the best for us.At first in the pool you can swim safer and with a teacher who can tell you the secrets of swimming,but it's not hard to swim so you don't practise so much.In the other hand in the sea is harder to swim because of the waves so you practise more.And the sea is ohysical and the pool technikal

Depends - if you want to go swimming, definately a pool. If you want to spend a day sunning, walking and exploring, of course the beach. Both are great. (just make sure to wear alot of sunscreen - melanoma is a deadly epidemic)

Pool... I don't like to swim where I become part of the food chain. Living in the SF Bay Area we have a huge Great White breading area off our coast.

Pool, because I hate the sand and the salt. Also because the ocean water isn't clear, so you never know if you are about to step on a searchan or jellyfish or something.
