SSI disability question?

In Michigan after a appeal is made disputing a ALJ ruling and sending to appeals to Virginia about the ruling.
what is the current time frame? Will this take years? How far behind are they at reviewing diputes? My attoney has submitted addtional evidence for their review. I know this is not a speedy process.

they will drag their feet but it should be around 30-90 days because if you win the appeal they have to give you back pay from the time you initially filed the claim.
