Also does anybody know who will make an engine sprocket for me as i am putting a 160 back end in and i will need offset sprocket made thanks Tommy.

Yes , you can buy offset front sprockets for a z1000. Ring up 'Debben performance' they specialise in them sort of things.

What's a 160 back end? I've never heard of any one going from a 630 chain down to a 530. They usually upgrade for the strength. Do you mean a 160 tire? Be a little more specific in your question. If you were to go down to a 530 chain, the sprocket would be the same distance from the hub and wouldn't give any clearance change for the tire. If you go to a wider rear tire, you'll change the handling characteristics. Keep every thing stock and stop wasting your time.

For every three teeth you change on the wheel, you change 1 on the gearbox... ie add three to the wheel, take 1 off the gearbox.. but you obviously cant go too small on the g-box.... supersprox at knighton, powys can make whatever you want.
