I would like to make a screen saver, how do I do this?

Any standard executable (nearly any, to be completely honest) can be turned into a screen saver just by renaming it from .exe to .scr. There's more to it if you want to provide a "Configure" option and a thumbnail preview (the OS sends command line arguments), but that's the basic gist. If you can code a full screen .exe, just rename it to .scr, and Bob's your uncle.

The link below shows what the command line arguments are, and shows a method in VB to grab the output of full screen code and turn it into a thumbnail.

There are loads of bits of freeware available for this, or you can put a few of your favourite photos into a folder and set it as a screen saver through windows,,,, windows just rotates the selected photos... quite good

open the picture/document you want for your screen saver in paint
click file then on the scroll down list will be set as background tiled or centred

alternatively you can open the area on your computer and right click the picture file and click set as desktop background
