Theres a lot, and it depends on what you think is populat, the old school type of popular, such as Gundam Wing, Rouroni Kenshin, or the new popular, which can be Naruto, which i hate, Bleach, One piece.

I don't know what is popular but I LOVE Inuyasha, Full Metal alchemist, Samurai shamploo and Zach Bell. and Im pretty old...

naruto is popular...i thought it was only popular in our country and when i searched it on the net i was surprised to see that there were many sites dedicated to this anime...and there are lots of fanfictions too...
