I spilled some Code Red Mountain Dew on the ground as I was trying to get in the door, and this little ant came over and I think he sipped the Mountain Dew. Now I'm wondering what will happen to him on all that caffeine? Will it kill him? Can ants have a heart attack? Or will he enjoy the extra energy? Will he suffer from insomnia tonight?

Want to try something interesting:
Put out a serving of beer in a saucer or other dish like a pie pan.
Add sugar.
Wait for it to ferment in the sunshine.
When the insects find it, they are attracted to it, drink a lot and get drunk.
They finally do get over it, but until then, it's interesting to watch them try to manage with all 6 legs.

the ant will boast about drinking the red fizzy liquid and how amazing it was then die happy:) it's not often that ants are able to encounter soda pop because by the time they climb on the soda can,a human will notice and squish them before they're able to sip the soda OR the human picks up the can so the ant falls and drowns before he/she is able to drink anything:(
