Because the media focuses on what those in charge are screwing up instead of what they are doing right. So, when that is all we hear, of course we don't want who we have. Then when we get someone hear all of his screw ups we want to go back to what we had because it seems better. If you notice, when you look back on things, they never seem quite as bad as they did when you were experiencing them. Plus, once you have someone new screwing up, people start looking for the good things that the previous guy did and that makes him look even better.

People don't have the faculties to observe serenity, when President CLinton freed up 6 trillian dollars, and gave the US a surplus, started a national conversation on racism, and lowered taxes - everyone blew up becasue he had an affair
Americans and people world eide want to suffer, their never happy with what they have, take Kennedy, I'm too young to remember, but it's pretty univeral belief that he would have been our greatest leader ever, but atthe time everyone cut down everything he did - go to space what a weirdo!!!
Equal rights? THis kid's livin in a dream world

i know. it's the same thing with the weather: if it's hot we complain about the heat and want it to rain, but when it does we complain about that and want the sun back. i think it's one of those bad habits of people in general - mostly, though, those who aren't ever happy with anything!

Yes. People love to whine and complain when that's all they know how to do.

"Grass is always greener on the other side."
"Don't know what you've got 'till it's gone."
"Hindsight's 20/20."
Take your pick....they could all apply.
