Armand is way better. For one thing, he;s got more class, self control and style. Lestat's impulsive and is always getting into trouble. In fact, he should have been killed in Paris by the vampires there, and he would have been were it not for Armand's intervention as I recall.

Armand. Lestat strikes me as decadent and childish, and I have a hard time feeling sorry for him. Armand's kinda the same way at times, but I find him to be the more tragic character, so he wins.

Plus, in terms of the Interview with the Vampire movie, Antonio Banderas as Armand was way cooler than Tom Cruise as Lestat.

That's a tough one. I admire Lestat for his devil-may-care attitude and his unwillingness to compromise in any situation.

But, it's tiresome. He beguiles people and then leaves them in shambles. He's a heart-breaker. A brat prince, of course.

For that reason, I would say I prefer Armand who has a heart of gold.

But, having said that...I prefered the book "The Vampire Lestat" to the book "The Vampire Armand." SO...I guess Lestat is a more interesting character...whether I like him better or not.

Lestat has an interesting story, but I find Armand so much more compelling. He's a deeper character and I think he is a lot more mature than Lestat

Lestat in my opinion, Armand's too clingy for me, and Lestat...he does what he wants lol, he's almost the perfect anti-hero to the vampire race, he's his own person. Armands definately cool, although "born" young, has intense strength. I also like Lestat because he's very knowledgable in the vampires ways, but plays ignorant so often, perfect example is when he didn't tell Louis/Claudia that you have to SPREAD the ashes to kill them, it was ensuring his own survival.

I liked the vampire Armand.
He seemed less arrogant and more mysterious.
