First off, is the software already on your PC? If so, you should remove it by using "Add or Remove Programs" from the control panel.

What you are really wanting is for the disk to start up on insert. Since it is not doing so you can go to the start menu -> My computer and then double click on the drive that the software disk is in. Look for a file called "Autorun" and double click that. That should work.

More than likely, the installation disk thinks the software is already on your system, so it wont install. Goto add/remove programs and see if the software shows up on the list. If it isn't there, there is a registry entry that the installation disk found telling it not to install. Playing in the registry can be a dangerous task if you've never done that before - so I will not explain what could be done there with the fear you may crash your computer if you do.

Unplug the printer for 20 minutes to reset the equipment, and run a printer cleansing cycle, this from time to time triggers the cartridges to artwork, that's demanding to tell what else must be the subject without the style of the printer, yet i've got self belief you would be able to choose a sparkling printhead, use the printer finder on the link below to work out if printheads on your particular printer are offered as consumables,

I'm no expert but you may need to go onto the appropriate website for your printer, where you can download the drivers for your hardware. Your printer should have a bar code ref which you will need to be allowed to download what you need. Or undo your system restore and start again.

Hmmm. Did you try to run the cd from the "run" prompt? E.g. if your cd-rom drive is "E", click on "start" select "run" & type the following: "E:setup.exe", where "E" is the name of your cd-rom drive.

Hope that helps...if not you can e-mail me at jkangalee@yahoo.com for help.
