Let's see. The majority of Americans are christians. Every president has been a christian. The vast majority of lawmakers and judges are christians of one sort or another.
No. But they'll keep on whining about it. What rights do you think you're going to lose? The right to go to a christian church? The right to pray to whomever you want? Those are not going to be taken from you.

It's going on right now, unfortunately. Liberals are adamant about attacking Christians' rights and taking God out of our lives. Our culture has become too PC and is afraid to offend anyone by mentioning God, Jesus or anything else pertaining to religion, especially Christianity. It's very unfortunate. A good example are the atheists who are trying to get "One nation under God" taken out of the Pledge of Allegiance. So in answering your question, there's not only a war against Christianty and the rights we have as Christians, but there is truly a war being waged against all religion in the public square.
Mikalya - Again, your words are misguided. You say, "Like the 'right' to make everyone in schools pray to their God." That was NEVER an issue. The idea of school prayer was that kids of any religion could pray to their God without fear of getting in trouble from an administrator. Nobody would force ANYBODY to pray, that's just a lie and you need to do your research more. There have been numerous lawsuits in which kids who have said grace at the lunch table have had that right revoked from them because activist courts are trying to eliminate all religion from the public square.
Judith R. - What a joke. Last time I checked, Clinton, it has been proven, mentioned God more in his speeches than Bush ever has. Get over it.

Only of special rights they should not have had in the first place. Like the 'right' to make everyone in schools pray to their God.
But legitimate rights like everyone else has? Unless the country is taken over by millitant muslims or something, I serioiusly doubt it.
(However in that exceptional case mentioned above, atheists and members of all other religions and moderate Muslims as well would lose their rights too. And I doubt it would be gradual)
TakingStock--No, your words are misguided. It is still perfectly legal and legitimate for students to pray in school to whomever or whatever they choose. Even sing religious songs in school talent contents, as the much maligned ACLU has supported the rights of a student to sing 'Our God is an Awesome God' in her school's talent contest--as in the link below.
And yes, I still stand behind what I say because if the students have to participate in religious activities in school (where they are a captive audience) if they object to praying it isolates them and puts them in a situation where they are not able to fully partake in the school activities as they should. Not praying as a part of school activity isolates no one.

Yes, absolutely.
However, as we've already been told that all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted (2 Timothy), and promised that God will never abandon or forsake us, and that we do not have the right to expect anything different at the hands of unbelievers, and that we are always to return good for evil (Romans 12), we already have been given full instruction from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on how to live in the midst of diminishing rights and unjust treatment.

There is n way any one can stop you from Praying and Worshiping, unless you are so religious you think you have to look or be in some ceremonious ritual when you Pray , like Bowed on your knees, or standing with your hands raised, you can do any of these in the Closet need not be in Public.

I don't think for the average Christian, but for the fundamentalists, I sure hope so, because they are inflicting their attitudes on the rest of the world. Don't believe me, watch George Bush's speeches and actions.?

they have too many rights as it is - nowadays you can't go to any gathering or function without having to go through a whole prayer thing. get over it and practice your faith in an appropriate forum instead of assaulting everyone with it.
