Wind Of Change.. Scorpions

I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
An August summer night
Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change

The world is closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change

Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change

The wind of change
Blows straight into the face of time
Like a stormwind that will ring the freedom bell
For peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change

Hallellujah. by Leonard Cohen. (no, it's not a christian song.)

Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
and she tied you
To her kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light
In every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though
It all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Jeff Buckley additional lyric...

well baby ive been here before
I've seen this room and Ive walked this floor
ya know, I used to live alone before I knew ya
and Ive seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
it's a cold and its a broken hallelujah

and it's not a cry that you hear at night
it's not somebody who's seen the light
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Oh i wish i didnt have to do this, there are so many lovely songs to choose from, but im going to say, 2
"When a child is born" i could listen to this all day.
"You've lost that lovin feelin" The emotion in this song really pulls at the heart.
And thats just 2, oh im sure Nat King Cole should have been in there.

Um, too many to mention!! Either "In my Life" or "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles. But then I suppose any song by the Beatles isn't underrated cos they're sooo famous!!
OK, "Evaporated" by Ben Folds Five is fantastic!
(am I allowed to give a three song answer?? Sorry!!)
