Listen Banman, if you want to try finding friends via Yahoo! Answers, try putting out a pleasant profile which allows others to get some idea of who you are as an individual.

I went looking at your profile and there is nothing there but your name and "contact banman". This is not going to attract to many people to wish to get to know you better.

If this is a joke, oh, well, I try to answer questions as if they have meaning. Sometimes they don't, but that is just fine with me. I am not looking for friends on Answers. I have a large network of friends already. Not that there is not room for one more, but heck, how can I have an idea if I would want to add you to my circle of friends when there is nothing there saying who you are, what you like, how old you are, etc. You can add stuff which is not going to give away your safety and still let others know if you have qualities they are looking for in a friend or aquantance. Or even if you are in their age group. I am from the older group, but I do have friends who are younger than I am. I am friends with many of my children's friends. My kids are grown now, and we all have great relationships.

See, I just gave you information about me that did not in any way give away where I live or how to contact me. It is as easy as that. You can have an instant messenger friend who you have great conversations with without giving out personally identifiable information.

Good luck to you in increasing your network of friends. I sencerely wish you the best, and have a great day too.

Hi Banman,

How are you, friend? Do you have plans for the weekend? I hope so.

I will be heading out of town this evening, so you have a good weekend.

I don't know about anyone else... But I KNOW I don't.

I don't like friends or those who feel they need them to be happy.
Its all a bunch of pretentious, competitive, phony crap... No thanks! I'll pass!

Good luck to you though.

*waves bye-bye
