My now ex bf dumped me because he was becoming too soft and falling deeply in love with me he still loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me but he won't tell me or ask me out again.
He told my friend all this but I don't know why he got scared?

You really don't? It's a scary feeling being in love with a woman especially if she's not apparently as in love with him as he is with her, because then he begins to appear "weak" or soft. Which in turn makes other aspects of his life turn to pure S**t! Likely he broke it off to put things into perspective and reclaim some dignity. I'm sure he still loves you, but the inequality was an untenable situation, and while I'm sure you're a very nice lady, that was probably the right call for him at that point. He'll come back when he thinks he's got a reasonable handle on the situation, and he'll likely be a better man for it, in the process.

He may have felt he was losing control of the relationship, spending all his time with you. Maybe his friends razed him about being whipped and he is showing them. It is really hard to tell. I would talk with him to set things back on tract, if that is what you really want. Good Luck!

he is obviously immature and unsure of his feelings. it does not make him a bad person, but it may make him a very bad boyfriend because he is obviously in no condition to commit to a relationship with you.
and fyi... most men don't dump you when they love you. they try to convince you to spend the rest of your life with them because they know they will never find another woman as perfect as you...

Maybe you shud try talking to him yourself.. guys can also be unsure bout themselves. you shud really talk to him so you guys can clear things out..after all he's in love with you. Whats love without honesty and openness?
