Because - wise oh wise david c - those are the kind of crappy things that you believe - some of those things that you list are the very reason we support the President... Hello? You're the one who calls it all failed and that those things happening are a bad thing...
He didn't veto stem cell research - he is only limiting the GOVERNMENT's role in it... Typical liberal slander - stem cell research can go on wherever, however, whenever it is happening, the President, CORRECTLY sees no need for the government to be involved with it - BECAUSE private industry can do a much better job and does not need to have everything funded by the government.
It's why you are a liberal - oh super smart david c - because you think that everything has to be spoon fed from the government. Government can rarely do anything better than the private sector, and that is why the President does not see the need for the government to be involved with it...
I wish he would cut a lot more social programs... and I wish he would have more tax cuts. david c - you wise little so smart guy - you really think all that tax money belongs to the government, don't you... it's why we're not safe when democrats are anywhere near the source of power - they think that having any money in your pocket is wrong - it should all be sent to the government so THEY can decide who should get it and how much. That's why I'm a conservative...
War is a mess? Well, democracy is messy sometimes, and if more people could get behind the President instead of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, maybe you could lend all your superior brain power to finding a better solution. But no - let's keep ragging about how bad everything is, instead of being part of the solution...

Sadly, there are plenty of Democrats who would vote for a Democrat regardless of the condition in which (s)he left our nation. Just as sadly, there are plenty of Republicans who would vote for a Republican regardless of the condition in which (s)he left our nation.
Even more sadly is that there are plenty of people who refuse to vote because of the stranglehold the 'Republicrats' have on our once-honorable political system.
'Republicrats' don't want us to vote. A high voter turn-out may ruin their chances of being re-elected. As long as these do-nothing incompetents can distract us with non-binding resolutions on flag-burning or gay marriage, they stay in office and continue sucking off the taxpayers' teat.
Meanwhile, we're pre-occupied with such things as our maxxed-out credit cards; $3.00-a-gallon fuel for our $60,000.00 SUVs; Britney Spears' love life; "low prices - everyday" on the junk we don't need from WalMart; professional landscaping for our $300,000 houses; Jacko's pedophilia; and the latest rankings of our favorite NASCAR drivers.
So, like lobsters languishing in a pot of lukewarm water, we're pretty damned comfortable as long as our sleazy politicians keep the pot simmering. Only when the water starts to boil will we start screaming in agony over our own apathy.
Meanwhile corrupt, evil, greedy, self-absorbed politicians keep enriching themselves with automatic cost-of-living pay increases while refusing to raise the minimum wage for eight million of America's working poor. Why? Because they're in bed with the lobbyists, special interest groups and big business who tell politicians what to do and how to do it.
Clinton was a womanizer (like probably 90% of our elected officials are womanizers; they just pray no one ever finds out). But he left office with a budget surplus, and a long list of accomplishments. He lied to Congress (apparently those 535 liars don't like to be lied to); but he left office with a incredibly high approval rating.
Bush, on the other hand, isn't a womanizer. He's a murderer.
And he's lied to the American public, leaked information to the press when it conveniently fit his agenda, then tried to censure the press when it published things he wanted kept secret. He has totally disregarded the value or the Fourth Estate, and has run ripshod over the U.S. Constitution, assuming that he is a law unto himself (even a well-respected Republican senator announced earlier this week that he'll introduce a bill to allow Congress to SUE Bush for documents he signed in direct violation of the Constitution).
Republicans will vote for Republicans because they become influenced by the biased conservative media (Limbaugh and Hannity are nothing more than propogandists for the GOP).
Democrats will vote for Democrats because they're followers and can't think for themselves.
Ben Franklin once said: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"
It's time for America to bear arms against an oppressive and tyrannical government (which the Constitution allows us to do). It's time for another American Revolution.

But we're still pretty comfortable, and we're not going to do anything until the pot starts to boil over.
Because of an insipid 'war' that Bush illegally started just to satisfy a personal vendetta against Hussein (and because Dick Cheney wants all the OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands), American taxpayers are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt. China is our beggest creditor. Once our federal credit card is maxxed out, China will begin to foreclose. Since we'll have no money to maintain a military, China will simply come over here and take whatever they want: our assets, oil, coal, real estate, weapons of mass destruction, wood, military hardware, - even our women if there's a lucrative international sex-slave industry from which to profit. And all because the Bush family dynasty has been for years 'sleeping with the enemy' - China.
Don't forget the Bush family also had close ties to the Saudis (and still does). Does it make sense to anyone that Bush might not have America's best interests at heart? -RKO-
