I am scared of people chatting me online and there will be no stop to it. There is almost 100% about sex or phone sex .
I prefer answers so that I can really discussing a topic I am interested.

Answers is much safer, and make sure your account is not your yahoo id and that people can't IM you. I agree that there are a TON of weirdos out there. Be careful! ;)

I find that IRC chat rooms are a good way to channel your discussions. Many of the rooms are titled appropriately and you can choose which one(s) to go into. I'm not taking about the 'cliqueish' Yahoo chat rooms, but rather the actual chatrooms provided by long-lived IRC providers like undernet.org.
