hi i wanted to knw what gel nails are ...are they good and do they cause less harm to the nails

Gel is a type of artificial enhancement for your nails. They all have different types of qualities. Ask your nail tech what type would be best for you.
Artificial enhancements will only damage your nails IF your nail tech is damaging your nails. What I mean by this is if you are going to a budget nail salon they use inferior products and use drills to do all their filing. If you are being left with red grooves on your nail beds after each fill, then run from that salon! It should not hurt to get your nails done. Improper use of a drill and poor quality products is what is damaging to your nails.
Drills used in a proper manner are not damaging. I use a drill every day in my business and my clients have healthy, strong nails if and when the acrylic comes off.

I have had both ones. I loved gels better because they did not spoiled my nails a lot, and in my opinion they were a lil bit better delicate. yet acrylic ones are more advantageous and they very last for longer... even if the negative aspect of acrylic nails are that for the period of time the acrylic isn't searching so properly .. Oh, and gel nails negative is that the gel is commencing to peel after a time .. If i had to verify on back then i ought to choose gel nails .. :)

gel nail are like crilic but,its not as strong as crilic.

gel nails are very good, they actually make the nails undernieth stronger. I know because i get them done very often and my aunt is a manucurist.
