Find the owners of horse brands if the horse is stolen and you want to verify ownership.?

Brands are traced through the state ag department.
Stolen horses through www.netposse.com or call your sheriff's department if you know for fact they're stolen with proof.

you can also post on equine.com THere are lots of equine sites that would allow you to post that brand to see if maybe the horse was stolen.
I have a horse listed on there and ther are always people looking for a lost horse or one that was sold long ago.

go to http://www.dreamhorse.com/ and post a notice...never done it, but I look at the site quit often.
