Violator - The best album of 1989

Some Great Reward," 1984. Can't beat tracks like "Master and Servant," "Something to Do," and probably one of the best pop songs that had a real message, "People are People." I don't personally care for the take on "Blasphemous Rumors," but I do think it's an incredibly well-crafted song from a man who obviously has his doubts about any kind of merciful God existing. Biting and insightful, if misled, IMHO.
