i personally would tactfully say to her look hun, hope you dont mind me saying but your alittle bit whiffy in the arm area , if shes a true m8 she wont take any offence, she may be alittle embarrassed and say ok thanks for letting me know and do something about it. other wise if she goes ballistic shes not a decent mate to take a friends advice on er hygiene.

Tell your friend straight. Indicate whether the BO is undearm, general or genital.

I knew a chap once who always smelled of genital odour. He was in his mid-thirties when he had to have the glans (bell-end) of his penis amputated because the build-up of smegma (old spunk) beneath his foreskin had caused the organ to become cancerous. He has lost the most sensitive part of his anatomy and will never be able to have sex, or even masturbate, again.

The same can happen to girls. Sometimes, the vagina does not secrete its natural lubricants to a sufficient extent, and if the girl is sexually active, the deposition of male semen around the cervix is not cleaned out. The ultimate result of this can be cervical cancer.

Moving on from genital pong, unwashed armpits, groins and other bits can eventually cause boils and warts. This is because the sweat glands become blocked and infection can set in. In the shorter term, unwashed sweat in the groin, between the buttocks or breasts, or even between the toes, can lead to a very painful condition known as intertrigo, where the skin reddens, and can then starts suppurating pus and other horrible exudations.

So tell your mate straight - you'll be doing her or him a great favour.

Why don't you go to Bath and Body Works they usually have a $5 sale, buy a nice body spray for you and one for her, even the same scent, and tell her "I was at bath and body works and I got us matching body sprays!!" she'll love it trust me....If that doesn't work...then just be honest with her. Trust me, I tell my friends that if there EVER is anything wrong to please tell me, if I really don't look as hot as I think I do with a mini skirt please tell me, I would rather hear it from my friends than a stranger, besides I trust my friends wouldn't want me to walk out of the house looking like a bad fashion example. Same with your friend, would you rather tell her nicely or have a stranger make an ugly remark at her and embarass her? Just tell her " Amy (example), I don't want to come off as mean but I've noticed that at times your body gives off a strong scent of BO and I just wanted to let you know because I know you would want me to ." Yall are friends, yall have codes, I know yall can understand each other. Good Luck.

Just sit her down and tell her - she will appreciate it in the long run. It's not about buying her deodorant - she may have a sweaty problem or just does not have a wash? Be a friend, tell her.

I have the same problem with a friend of mine. I just casually mentioned that she stunk. I didnt say it in a mean way, i just kinda joked about it, but she got the hint.

tell her nicely .. say hey .. you know .. I've been noticing lately that when you're sweating ... you tend to have a little bit of body odder ... you should try my deodorant or maybe even a different kind ... ( and give her a few good choices .. )

If she's a true friend ... she shouldn't be offended .. !

If she is a real friend she wouldn't mind you telling her - or just say to her "you need some deodorant" Laugh
