Seems to me that ANY comment that portrays heterophobia (a.k.a. homosexuality) in a bad light of any kind is called "bashing".

So I'd like to know if it's even POSSIBLE to have an intelligent discussion about heterophobia with a heterophobic, and NOT be accused of bashing.

ROFL all the gays coming out of the closet to bash ME. I'm amazed at how narrow minded and hostile GAYS are.

"No its not possible with people who invent terms like heterophobia"

Yeah, and "homophobia" is a word that came to us out of the old English, right.

What a bunch of self-deceived idiots.

Unlikely. You have to remember that the very thing that makes them queer is an illness, and that illness makes rational conversation difficult, to say the least.

Let's take a look at your question. First of all, you are attempting to say that heterosexuality itself is considered homophobia, and that's simply not true. My gay friends certainly don't think that I am biased against gay people because I am straight, and I don't think they are biased against straight people (heterophobic) because they are gay. So we can see how poor your reasoning skills are right there.

Second, yes, if you say bad things about homosexuality, it is going to come across as bashing or homophobic. I'd be curious what criticisms you feel qualified to make that you do not feel are simply your bias against gay folks.

Third, I have had many conversations with gay friends about sexuality in general (or, as you put it, "intelligent discussion about heterophobia with a heterophobic") and was not accused of gay bashing. But then, I'm not homophobic. By your wording, it's pretty obvious that you are.

Given that gay people were and are oppressed and straight people are not, perhaps it would be nice to just let gays be heterophobic. After all, heterophobia is probably based more in actual fear as the name suggests.

No its not possible with people who invent terms like heterophobia. Here's a new one that I have, Ignoraphobia.
Its the fear of having to deal with ignorant people.

I don't think it's possible. Sexual orientation is like skin color, you can't change it (well except for the people who go to the tanner but you know what I mean). If you were to have a conversation about skin colors where it portayed one skin color in a bad light, it'd be seen as bashing too, wouldn't it?

homosexuality doesn't make one hetrophobic anymore than hetrosexuality makes one homophobic. It's not clever. It's not funny. I'm not surprised you can't have an intelligent copnversation.

Welcome to political correctness, where ANY discussion that goes against militant minority politics is labeled "hate speech".
